The white color creates a light, neutral look, and the nontoxic, odorless construction is SGS-certified for food contact. This bowl is made of melamine, which is a synthetic resin that becomes hardened and formed after heating. It looks like porcelain, but is more durable and lighter weight, so it's a better choice for busy foodservice operations. This heat- and corrosion-resistant bowl has a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C (-4°F to 158°F) making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
